Elli Klaus, RMT
(she/her/hers) Originally from Germany, I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2006 and have experience treating a wide range of conditions and pathologies. For over a decade, I have also been extensively involved in teaching massage therapy and instructing in student clinics. I am currently employed as a clinic instructor and outreach supervisor at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.
During a period of extensive and repeated surgeries due to skin cancer, I realized how invaluable MLD treatment is not just pre and post-surgery but also in the management of tissue health and scarring thereafter.
Fascinated by these findings, I traveled to Austria’s Vodder Academy to become certified in MANUAL LYMPH DRAINAGE AND COMBINED DE-CONGESTIVE THERAPY. The training has changed my focus as an RMT and I am keenly absorbing and learning everything I can about this powerful modality. Due to my own experience, I am very interested in scar management as well and have taken continued training in scar treatment and burn scar massage.
Lymph Drainage is indicated for many conditions and situations, such as: Lymph Edema (current or preventative), Pre/Post Surgery, Traumatic Injuries, Skin Conditions, Poor Wound Healing, Insomnia.
I provide an LGBTQ-friendly and Trans Safe Space.

When meeting with David you can expect a warm welcome, a compassionate assessment and a friendly ear. Through listening to your story, you and him will arrive at a treatment plan together.
Because each of our experiences with pain is unique, David will use different techniques to help you get back to living a pain free life. These techniques may include Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, stretching and resistance training.
During your appointment you can expect a brief assessment prior to your massage and home care provided to continue your treatment plan when you return home.
